Why are your spells so simple?

There are witches everywhere- in both rural and urban environments, and many of us do not have the time and resources available to carry out long, complicated rituals. We also live in a day and age where, if you openly practice any form of witchcraft, you will most likely be looked at strangely, or perhaps disrespected by non-practicing members of society.

These spells were written for those who wish to be secretive about their craft, or are unable to obtain the 'necessary' supplies for more complicated spells, or have very little time to devote to spellcasting. I am a strong believer that the true power of a spell comes from within, not from without, and there is no real need for fancy ritual if you have willpower and self discipline.

Use them, or don't. It is ultimately up to you to decide whether or not these spells are ideal for you.
