Their caution and skepticism makes them conservatives at heart and binds them to traditions and patterns. Change is not something they take easily.
It may be hard for this person to form solid relationships with others due to their reserved nature. Verbal communication for them is built around logic not emotion. Very little in their makeup is based around emotion. They will try and show how they feel about their partner through practical means like paying the bills, being punctual and helping out with the household tasks. It may not be as romantic as poetry and flowers, but it is usually more useful. Their changing moods normally need to be waited out as they will cycle through. Honesty is one of their key traits so if they give their word on a matter, it can be taken as the gospel.
The business world is a good place for this person's direct thought and communication processes to be used. Organization and planning are especially strong skills they have and working on long projects that require a great deal of will and perseverance will make them feel accomplished. If they put their mind to a task, it will be completed. They will not thrive as the leader of a large group of people- especially a group of people that they don't already know well. This scenario would bring out the insecurity in their persona and potentially sabotage all of the positive traits that make them a workforce attribute in the first place.
