The Law of Attraction - Understanding the Law in Relation to Religion

The Law of Attraction has been around since, well, the beginning of time. Our entire universe is built on the principle that things of similar wave lengths are related to and attracted to one another in some capacity. This is most readily observed at the sub-atomic level of protons, neutrons and electrons, which are drawn together to form every known part of life. So maybe you are new to the Law of Attraction; maybe you want to use the Law, but there are issues in your life that are holding you back. The goal of this article is not to reveal how to masterfully apply the Law of Attraction, but to lay the foundation for a heightened level of understanding on how the Law of Attraction works, what it works with, and what to expect as your awareness of the Law increases. This understanding will dispense with doubts and fears so that you can move forward with Law and begin to make it work in your own life.
First, the Law of Attraction works with any religion or belief system. If I were to tell you that Wicca, Buddhism, Islam, and Hinduism all had things in common, you would probably think I was on some sort of mind altering medication. Well, all religions and belief systems do have two things in common: they focus on our interactions with others and they focus on us finding out more about ourselves. If we take it back another level, all major belief systems deal with our interactions with universal energy.
To Christians, Muslims and Jews this interaction is through the divine. For earth based religions, it is through interaction with the earth in some existential way. For eastern religions, it is through meditation. Now, before anyone writes or comments on my total lack of understanding on your religion, I am not here to argue semantics. This summary is to simply lay down the foundation that the Law of Attraction is in no way opposed to any major religion. To me, as a Christian, understanding the Law of Attraction means coming more into harmony with what God wanted me to do, which is to create abundance. Granted my focus will be different than other religions, but I am not trying to offend or get into the details of how any particular faith is enhanced by the Law of Attraction.
Understanding the principle of universal energy, or as Napoleon Hill put it "the ether", enables one to take whatever life experience and faith system they have and take it to the next level. What about all the atheist out there? Well guess what? Even the most adamant atheist will not argue with the fact that the universe is fundamentally composed of atoms and that one property of energy is that it has no beginning or end, it is simply transferred.
This article is written for the sake of putting a primary concern of many who are interested in the Law at ease. It is only one of what I believe to be essential steps in applying the Law of Attraction. Stay tuned for my next installment which discusses various resistances that come up as one tries to apply the Law to exact change upon one's life.
